I was beginning to think the same this morning.

I am just running some tests with the system as bare as possible.
Even Gluestik was started manually after booting.

Using aFTP I tried downloading lots of different files from
Chapelie (Belgian ftp).

It worked for all files up to 32,629 bytes. Anything larger
did not download.

This looks suspiciously like a limit of 32k.
