This is in option = 2 it is actually implement in myaes and work fine. Option 1 is really for software like taskbar only I thinkI have directly answer for last Odd question not in mailing list by error (Why "reply" from mail on Mint mailling list answer directly to author and not to mint@fishpool.com as other mailing list do? This is quite surprising)
