[MiNT] lp.xdd

Hi, all!
I  think that this is the right place for my question:
May I use the LP driver in order to send print queues over the network 
(like in linux)?
That is: May I print to /dev/lp? And if so, where do I set the 
parameters (name of the queue, server, etc)?

I have lp.xdd in my mint folder, but I really don't know how to use it.
Please help.
