[MiNT] Mint net

I am trying to use 1-16 but it is impossible if I can't
send emails or ftp anything bigger than 2.5k.

This problem goes back a long time, at least as far back as

Can someone help me try to find the problem so we can fix it.

In the past we have eliminated the NIC and the drivers.

Dial-up didn't exhibit the same problem the last time I
tried it.

It's not limited to one mail or ftp client.

1-16 uses inet4.xdd which 1-15-12 does not so there must
have been major changes in this area of mintnet.

Help I am desperate to use 1-16 and Xaaes but at the moment
it is a non-starter.
