I have just spotted a problem with the work I've done. I hadn't noticed that paste uses the same routine as the keyboard handler. However paste doesn't use IKBD codes so it has problems. I need to find a workaround and it does seem a bit unnecessary for paste to use the same routine with all the control key features. Peter
