Re: [MiNT] Binutils 2.20 and GCC 4.4.2 native

for everybody interested, today evening I've built newest binutils and

working.
Great, MiKRO, it works for me, too :-)
I unpacked your binutils and GCC archives (they install into /usr/local),
then I added the MiNTLib and PML contents from my Cygwin binary packages
(cross-libraries are strictly the same as native ones).
I have compiled and run George's program, like you, and it worked out of the
box :-)
Furthermore, I did that on my minimal ARAnyM image, where there is basically
only FreeMiNT kernel, bash and coreutils (I use the full-screen console - no
AES). And all this stuff is running on the hostfs (no ext2 partition).
All this software has been rebuilt from scratch from sources, there is no
binary coming from SpareMiNT.
Things work well :-)
Thank you for these MiNT binaries, MiKRO.
I hope most MiNT people will try them.
