You've all hinted at some of the many reasons that I don't
like and don't get on with C depite having first used it back
in 1987. I do my best to avoid it. Any language based on something
from the 1950's is going to have lots of pitfalls.

I've been reading this list for something like 8 years and
the knowledge you guys have always impresses me. Most
of the subjects I understand but can't really offer any
help on, while a few are beyond my OS knowledge.
