There should be no file size limits, those are OS limits, not format
limits, remembering that they change "block" sizes to allow greater
drive sizes. If there is a limit to files on ext2 it will be around
4Gb also, and it will be the OS that limits it, not the format.

BTW, what videos do you have that are larger than 4Gb, remembering
that even on a dual layer DVD (8.5Gb) the video is normally split into
pieces
