This is a perfect example of one of the things that needs a dedicated
web site (or space) so everyone can see what the structure can, is and
should be, to also allow for that "longer lasting design" mentioned by
Helmut. In the meantime (for CVS) a working fix is available, if
somewhat unsatisfactory for long term use

Rob this is another one of those item I would throw up for TOS5, and
CVS roadmap, somewhere in the FreeMint section, and it is apparent its
is kind of urgent, at least in defining structure and fleshing out
design (or KM), so that if nothing else, a longer term fix can be made

The KM name issue, peeps need to be thinking about the driver modules
at the same time, and fVDI as KM, is such a way as the resulting
implementation makes sense. Are there any other sources of inspiration
for this? Unix? SunOS? NixOS?

BTW its 2010 already :)
