I use MyMail heavily and I've not noticed this problem.
However I normally add attachments by dragging them into
the attachment area of the mail window.

When I get home later in the week I'll experiment.

Is MyMail set-up to use the application folder as the
home or to use another folder ?

I use the application folder.
