[MiNT] Daily builds report
Hi,
now i played a little bit with XaAES 0.999alpha (build 26052010), it works
fine but there are a few issues i'd like to mention:
-Fileselector:
Option "Realtime build directories" off (not hooked).
If the fileselector opens in a drive (folder) with more files than the
window can display, size of the vertical slider isn't correct.
The slider covers the whole scroll-area; after a mouseclick on it or using
up/down key, the slider is re-drawn with the correct size.
-Taskmanager:
The orientation (positioning) of the items (load window, buttons) is looking
a little bit "untidy", perhaps this should be cleaned up.
Helmut, i can send you a modified version of xaaes.rsc with a re-organized
layout, if you want.
-Context popup menu/submenu "windows":
If an entry is very long (e.g. from MyMail), the window-submenu covers
the popup menu, no matter if opened with rightclick on closer or with
CTRL+ALT+rightclick somewhere in the window. This is very annoying because
windows-submenu always opens directly.
I know this is a kind of "intelligent window positioning" and perhaps not
happens with higher screen-resolutions than mine (640*480@256c), but a
submenu never should cover its parental, am i right?
Can you include the context menu into resource file, so it's easy to
translate it to other languages?
-Taskbar:
The topmost entry is directly selected when clicking on start-button.
If this is a folder, the submenu is opened.
I posted this some time ago, it never happened with MiNT 1.16.3/XaAES 0.998.
In xaaes.rsc i saw a lot of little icons at the top of taskmanager (tree006)
and at the bottom of system window (tree007) and fileselector (tree008).
Most of them are invisible in XaAES. What are they for?
