If there had of been a point release of the kernel, specifically one
containing the extended textures in XaAES, you would already have this
in you warm little hands
This is exactly what I was building upto before I joined the list.
This was the main reason for AFROS-update
(http://afros-update.sf.net/), because it is the core to using any
ARAnyM distribution.
I am (im)patiently waiting to continue building a CD/DVD/USB
distribution, especially now we have Gentoo MiNT, and new SpareMiNT,
and cross-tools for various platforms
This is also one of the reasons to get the websites more fully
integrated, more functional, and more usable.
It is also the reason why the documentation in every aspect need
updating, fine tuning, and colating, especially with cross
referencing.
A developers kit would be available containing up-to-date "bits"
(everything), enough that you could loose the internet and still
develop fully and with confidence, any GEM, TOS, MiNT, ST/e or Falcon
(and now ACP/FireBee) application
Well it would be if I didn't have to sit here twiddling my thumbs waiting for:
A) web site integration
B) dynamic updates
C) kernel point release
D) XaAES with extended textures
E) updated and cross referenced developers documentation
F) ...
.. any of which I could assist in completing.
