[MiNT] Daily builds Trunk 0908
Hello,
i tested trunk 09082010 on my Falcon/Ct60/CTPCI/Radeon with fvdi, it works good but there are
some issues i found. These may be fvdi-related, but i better post them before the release:
1. The system freezes reproducable (needs reset then) with the errormessage
"attempt to restart XaSYS pid 102 (XaSYS) Bus Error: User PC 112582C, Address 711C0504 (basepage: 10F00B0 text: 10F01B0 data: 1142C1C bss: 1147424)"
when i open the window context menu (rightclick on CLOSER) and move the mousepointer over the menu-options.
Perhaps when a sub-menu is opened??
2. Exactly the same error occures (reproducable) when i use the horizontal slider in XaAES Taskmanager.
Strange: Moving the slider to the right works normal, but when i move it back to the left the error occures.
The vertical slider works correct. The same happens in XaAES menu/Process/System (Log) window.
3. I renamed the included /tools/cops_de.app to cops.acc (is this allowed?) and replaced my old one.
It starts, but shows only 6, sometimes 7 or 8 cpxs (instead of the 12 which are in the cpx-folder. CPX path
is set correct, (and saved correct, too). Doubleclick on any of the 6 CPX shows message
"An error occured while staring the Control panel"
When i try to start any of these CPX from Taskbars "Control Panel" menu nothing happens (environment var.
CPXPATH is set correct). Previously used cops 1.08 works normal.
@ JFL:
> suggest for better consistency:
> - remove the space in the XaAES menu between "Launch" and "...";
> - add trailing dots after the menu entries "Task Manager", "System",
> "Log" and "Resolution";
> - "Quit all App" should be "Quit all Apps";
> - capitalize "desk";
I'll correct these and send the english (and german) resources to Helmut (or Alan??) ASAP, so he can
include them. Are there any name conventions for translated XaAES resource files yet?
@ Johan: I sent you a mail (~2 months ago) about fvdi problems with ttf-fonts, attached a screenshot of
Highwire with "arial" ttf-font in that mail. You didn't reply, did you receive the mail??
