If I save the options from inside ARCVIEW it just save the
ARCVUEW.CFG file in the application folder.

Mine is on a GEM partition. D:\ARCHIVER\ARCVIEW

If you can't work out Arcview then try TwoInOne since that demonstrates
the same ramdisc bug.
