The user or install script can then just move the ones they need into mint/xx.yy.zz I started writing an install script for the original daily build. I twas intended to be passed the name of the tarball and the machine name then: 1 unpack the tarball 2 make a copy of the existing mint/xx.yy.zz folder 3 update the copy folder with the new files 4 replace the existing mint folder with the new one I didn't get very far and I left it while the file structure is changing.
