I know that what I'm going to write isn't remotely what you asked for, but here goes ;)

PeP, who frequents this list has released a (IMHO) much better replacement for TosWin, called Conholio. Perhaps you could give it a go? http://xaaes.atariforge.net/download.php?product=conholio
