I had a quick look at this, and it looks tidy. However, the directory
structure doesn't work at all with my installer, but we can get back to
that when the summer ends and I get back to my Milan ;-)

However, I have one request - make a zip-archive too. tar and bzip is
very inconvenient for first-time users. They most likely don't have
these tools at hand, and that alone is enough to put many people off.
