This is a good reason for system comparisons
TOS users will do it their way (many different ways)
Magic/NAES users will do it a specific way
EasyMiNT does it (old) redhat/sunos way
Gentoo mint is probably different (in some way)
AFROS has a set way too
And then there is aranym..
A call for peoples filesystem setups would do the trick
ls -1 -R /c/mint/* > mint.txt
ls -1 -R /c/gemsys/* >> gemsys.txt
for U root folders
ls -1 / > udir.txt
for U all files & folders
ls -1 /* > udirall.txt
By comparing these a set of "standard" ways for setting up a system
can be given, depending on the way you want to use your system, or the
distro you use.
