Thing 1.27 has bug related to the ramdisk.  If the window is open to the
ramdisk at the time of the file copy, the window never updates to reflect
the changes, although the file is there.  You have to force the window to
update its contents.  Maybe that is the problem you see?

Thing 1.27b however does not have this issue.
