OK, to be sure I commented the lines refering to shutdown into XaAES.cnf
# setenv SDMASTER c:\mint\shutdown\shutdown.app
# setenv SHUTDOWN c:\mint\shutdown\shutdown.app
and rebooted the machine.
Then, I tried the following and got the results thereunder :
- XaAES Taskmanager Coldboot -> cold boot
  XaAES Taskmanager Reboot   -> cold boot
- Ctrl + Alt + Del           -> cold boot
  Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Del   -> cold boot

So, I think something's really going wrong with my config. :-(
The problem is : how can I find what ?
