Re: [MiNT] kernel modules

that patch you supplied recently, that fixed the way kernel modules

I supplied several patches, each one focused on a very specific change
which was explicitly described in the CVS log message.
I did not provide a general patch for the compilation of kernel modules.
.. am I right in understanding that they are now compile per cpu type?
If it was the case, I would have told that.
Progressively, I supply patches to enable ColdFire support in the C and
assembler sources, so more and more components are able to be compiled
for ColdFire.
But the Makefiles are not ready to allow building a full FreeMiNT
distribution with all the components optimized for a specific target.
This will be a further task, covering all the supported targets, not
only ColdFire.
.. or are they still 68000 only?
Yes, nothing has changed.
Even if more and more components can be compiled for ColdFire, the
current makefiles always build most modules and tools for 68000 only.
