I looked for the versions of cross compiling and here are the results:

# m68k-atari-mint-as --version
# GNU assembler (GNU Binutils for MiNT 20110206) 2.21

# m68k-atari-mint-gcc --version
# m68k-atari-mint-gcc (GCC) 4.5.2 (MiNT 20110206)
So I have an older gcc, this may be the problem. I have it from your Ubuntu rep. A look at the sources.lst showed me that during update to natty the lines with your repo were commented out. After uncommenting them I can't access your repo:

W: Fehlschlag beim Holen von http://vincent.riviere.free.fr/debian/dists/natty/Release  Unable to find expected entry 'contrib/binary-amd64/Packages' in Release file (Wrong sources.list entry or malformed file)

So it seems I have to install the sources.
