Re: [MiNT] Network and USB problems with NetUSBee
Hi,
here's a test-summary (NetUSBee+network, no usb drivers).
Download speed from wget, 15MB libs.tar archive from easymint website.
EasyMiNT (1.16.3 alpha):
- EasyMiNT inet4.xdd + CT60 archive enec6.xif:
Runs good, average DL speed ~75KB/s
- EasyMiNT inet4.xdd + assemsoft ne2kenec.xif:
Runs even better, DL speed ~119KB/s
- Assemsoft inet4.xdd + ne2kenec.xif:
DL speed ~119KB/s, too
FreeMiNT trunk 20062011:
- Trunk inet4.xdd + enec6.xif or ne2kenec.xif:
Broken downloads, FalcAmp buffer underrun soon after start
- Assemsoft inet4.xdd:
Error "Mint too old, this module requires at least a FreemiNT 1.16!"
- EasyMiNT inet4.xdd:
Error "Mint too old, this module requires at least a FreemiNT 1.16!"
So it would be great if anybody could fix this version-query problem that
it's perhaps possible to test EasyMiNT or assemsoft inet4.xdd with
current trunk (if these can work together).
@David: Somehow i'm happy that i'm not the only one with USB problems ;-)
But i beleive that ramdomly appearing errors are the worst case for debugging,
they make bug-reports much more difficult, too.
You're on a good way if it works with EtherNat, don't get mad. Like we say in
Germany: Even Rome wasn't built in one day...
Regards,
Lars
