Normally using the 1-17-0 folder should work, i guess just using mint
folder does not work.

If you can't create an folder with "-" in it, then there is either an 
desktop or
keyboard problem. Try to use a tool like slectric, boxkite, teradesk or 
whatever
instead - it should work.
