This is an interesting option to have the same background for all applications with background, there is in this less blink. Not only interesting but mandatory!
That's a matter of taste.
Now it is simple to have this feature as an option in the config file. But why? If a user never touches it he will get the default behavior, and if he does he knows how to switch it off.
I repeat my opinion:Hotkeys are good for quick access to features, but it's not a good way to configure anything. There are currently several existing methods of configuring stuff in XaAES:
1. In xaaes.cnf2. By copying certain files to certain folders (e.g. IMG-files with specific names in $sysdir\xaaes\img\).
3. At compilation time.We don't need another one. Also, when hotkeys is the only way to set desktop image it's impossible to include desktop images as a part of a theme. The desktop image should either be specified in xaaes.cnf or by copying "desk.img" to the texture-folder.
Besides, how is the state of the background image (and the image itself) saved?
