Hi,

- mint.cnf: This file is completely outdated, please use file /mint/1-18-cur/mint.cnf (trunk) instead
  and edit it for your needs.
  Parameters  GEM=<path to xaloader> and INIT= should NOT be used together. Use GEM= *OR* INIT=.

For sure, TaskBar MUST be run from Desktop...see Taskbar.hyp/installation.
