Fsfirst() uses about 1.5 kB of stack. That seems quite a lot. Even though EmuTOS is now patched to cope with that, I wonder how much Atari TOS likes that, with GEM=ROM.
It's ok with it it seems. Every file-operation in the TOS-desktop would use the MiNT-functions (doesn't the TOS-desktop also run in supervisor?).
There have always been random but rare crashes when using the desktop too much, maybe this is related and it's worth trying to decrease the stack-usage of these calls?
