Yes, I probably will stick with the old setup. I did get the new setup to run by using the CNF files of Mint and the AES of the old setup....

You're not using xaaes.cnf from the original MiNT installation, that's
the problem.

Anyway, I think you should stick with the old setup for now. There's a
couple of issues with the XaAES in 1.18.0 on the Firebee.
