I just posted there, but the last screenshot you took still shows 1.18,
and not the trunk code as it would show 1-19-cur. It's worth trying the
trunk and it works fine on my STE and STFM.

As David mentioned, it's worth trying NOHOG.ACC

ext2 is currently only compiled for 68020-60. As for the MINIX messages,
have you got ALERT or DEBUG enabled in your mint.ini file ?

Again, check your kernel log level.
