The MC68881UM/AD REV 2 says that the MC68881 can report version $1F and
$3F, and the MC68882 uses version $1F.  It also says that future
revisions can use different versions, whereas the size of the frames
will always remain the same.

Thus the detection code in MiNT is definitely buggy.
