Actually it does have a GDOS. It supports both bitmapped and outline 
fonts (via FreeType), but only for the screen AFAIK. However, I did not 
have any success in getting  that version to work on my 
Falcon/AB/Eclipse but had to revert to an ancient version from the early 
2000's.
