[Freemint-list] [MiNT] fVDI in FreeMiNT CVS?

Out of curiosity, is there a reason to still use CVS rather than moving
to git, or something else?  Just wondering if it's a case of there
being native CVS and not git, or what the reason is.  I think most
people cross compile these days?
