This is how GitHub is supposed to work. There are many forks of 
repositories, so people can hack on their side. And maybe at some time make 
a "pull request" to ask for patch integration upstream.
We just have to remember which repository is considered as the official one 
when building releases. Thanks to the FreeMiNT Organization, we are unlikely 
to forget ;-)
