I can appreciate the reasons for moving to github and I think it
is the right thing to do but can it also run a mailing list so
we can at least get a digest and see what is happening ?

I seldom bother to visit the atari forums because it requires me
to remember to visit them, I know it's lazy but we are all busy
people. The ML digest lands in my inbox and I read it.

Also, github isn't just slow on Netsurf, it is absolutely unusable.

I suspect this is due to issue in the Atari Netsurf build that
affects a lot of sites.

Highwire can open some pages in 2-3 seconds that NS needs 20 minutes to
open. It will just sit there saying "fetching" but the lack of activity on
the router says otherwise.

It needs someone with network monitoring and debugging skills to
see what is actually happening.

While I was writing this I was waiting for NS to open one of the
github links and it crashed !

Regards,

Peter
