OK, I did give it a try.

HTML:

   - SVN UDO has no complains, correctly renders the whole html tree
   - Your UDO complains about some double definitions

STG:

   - SVN UDO complains about (seems largely the same) double definitions
   - Your UDO ditto

So that would match your description that HTML is the only maintained /
working output module. Can you take a look whether those issues are
rightful (i.e. I should fix something) or your code is just too sensitive?
