Mintlib bug?

I'm not sure this is a mintlib bug, and it may have been fixed. Using
ftp-03 (I'm fairly ure) With the precompiled binary.
'

A 'reget <filename>' results in the existing portion of the file becoming
all zero bytes, with the added portion tacked on to the end.

The only place I can see this happening is in the minlibs during the
append operation.
