Shel_write or Fork?

	On my current project I want to allow people on multitasking
systems to run an external program multiple times.  This is no problem,
however I need to track when these programs are complete and process the
files they create.  This is my problem.

	I have tried tracking the evnt_msg for child exits but this never
seems to be sent (I am using AES 4.1).  Can anyone recommend a system that
will work under the current big 3 multitaskers for GEM? (MTOS[Mint], Magic
and Geneva).  Or am I going to have to work in three different systems?
