I quess I was hit by unwanted RTFM-error (again ;-) just missed
that section.

But there is new problem now;

As pppd 2.2.0e readme file says;

The ip-up and ip-down scripts are now run with an empty environment
in version 2.2.0e. Maybe that why mint.cnf TZ variable is not
regognized and time I get from my ISP is 3 hours wrong :( ?

If I run Rdate from desktop time will be updated correct.

Is there any way to set time with TZ variable from ip-up file?

TIA,
