HS-Modem buggers with MiNT on Stacy

I just installed KGMD on my Stacy. Rather slow, but usable.

The problem is, HS-Modem modules freeze MiNT at bootup.
I can use HS-Modem modules alone or MiNT but not both.

I have tried various MiNT versions as well as unpacking
a fresh set of HS-Modem modules. Still no good. 
Using RSVX.PRG (ie: HSMINST) doesn't help either.

However, without HS-Modem, I cannot use the midi port
when running ConNect, cause it misses characters...
but it works fine if MiNT isn't there...

Can anyone help?

NOTE:  I *know* how to install HS-Modem for MiNT.
       Everything works on my TT, so I don't need 
       a tutorial on AUTO-folder sorting.

       My Stacy is the only machine where it fails.
