Same with me, but today I compiled tinpre-1.4-980226 with stdarg.h file I 
took from PL48 (after patching) and those warnings are gone. However I cant 
make Tin run OK :(   Everything works OK until I try open actual message 
and this is what I get as result;

Reading ('q' to quit)...
tin: signal handler caught SIGBUS signal (10).

How did you configure your version before compiling? Here is my setup;

configure --enable-nntp-only --with-ncurses --enable-curses --enable-color 
--enable-8bit-keys --host=m68k-gnu --disable-locale
and -m68030 -m68881 flags set.
