I mean that if you put "E:\Some path\on a
VFAT-partition\With_a_long_filename.tar.gz" on the command line (or e.g. via
the AV-protocol) to an application that use the old DTA-interface, this will
often choke it. The application would have to look up the file itself via
GEMDOS to get the 8+3 path/name.
