[MiNT] The new Linux Compiler has a problem with Xcompiling.

hi,
   I can compile gcc.2.7.3 and the AS that comes with the
3.9.1 compiler barfs on
   compiledgcc  and traps.

    How do I fix this?    I am not sure how to change the
code emiter or should I try to
    change the assembler?

    any help please.
