Try the easymint installation. It's based completely on the Sparemint rpm packages
and the newest MiNT kernel. It's pretty complete and completely up-to-date. When
updating or adding new RPMs later, you will not have conflicting configurations.
Start with the BASIC, STANDARD, and NET packages. You won't need HSMODEM anymore,
which is replaced by scc.xdd.

If you have problems, keep asking questions in the MinT mailing list. Don't give up,
an up-to-date MiNT installation is great ! I have it working on my Falcon too !
