I use only MiNT and with an ISA netcard (NE2000) I don't have any
problems. So for my local network I use both (ISA and PCI) netcards at
same time:
10/100MBit PCI, IP x.y.z.2 for transfering files >>from<< MILAN
10MBit ISA, IP x.y.z.1 for transfering files >>to<< MILAN

But as a masquerading gateway adapter the PCI netcard works fine. I
connect my local network to Internet via dial-up at MILAN and all
transfers to/from other network computers are done thru the PCI card
without any problems.
