Re: [MiNT] Cross-GCC for Ubuntu

Hello.

4) Install the cross-tools packages (one big line):

Of course the command must be:
$ sudo apt-get install binutils-m68k-atari-mint ...
I forgot the "install" keyword in my previous post.

I put the instructions for Ubuntu on a new page:
http://vincent.riviere.free.fr/soft/m68k-atari-mint/ubuntu.php

The good news is that I used the same procedure to install these Ubuntu binary packages on my Debian Testing (Squeeze) system, they work out of the box :-)

If you use this cross-compiler in a directory mounted with ARAnyM's hostfs, you can compile your MiNT software on Linux at the speed of light, then switch to ARAnyM instantly for testing and debugging. Then you just have to copy the resulting programs to your real Atari and enjoy them :-)
