Actually, we all know what he means but it's not very polite to say it loud. "Bad" thing is this is open mailing list, we must accept even not so useful postings. On Linux Kernel ML can be seen *much* obscure postings and you know what? They don't care unless it's really on an edge of spamming. I personally ignore some kind of messages here and I wouldn't be surprised if someone does the same for messages from me ;-)
