[MiNT] Couple of MiNT questions

Hi there,

as the subject says, i have a few questions.

1.) I have a Biodata Bionet 100 DMA Knot i'd like to use with mint. I
have placed mintp.prg in auto folder and in \mint\1-18-cur\ inet4.xdd
and biodma.xdd. When i start, i get this error and the systems stops
booting:

Loading Interfaces:
DP8390: DMA adaptor driver (C) 1996, 1997, 1998 by T. Lang
DP8390: No device found
DP8390: driver (v1.1) for BIODATA DMA adaptor not installed

The Bionet is behind a GE-Soft SCSI adapter and no matter how i connect
it ( see sample below ) it has no effekt. Any chance to bring it to work?

Sample: ( hope, you understand what i paint :)

                  # DMA Out |
                  | |
                  +-------------------+

2.) I've build the freemint/xaaes today from cvs again and i get this
error in aranym:

XaAES: press any key to continue ...
AESSYS kthread exited - C.shutdown = 4 ->Quit XaAES.
Load kernel module: \c\MINT\1-18-CUR\XAAES\xaaes.km
XaAES loader: Fcntl(KM_RUN) failed!
press any key to continue ...

I'm pretty sure, i've placed it where the loader it is expecting. i even
made a copy of xaaes040.km to xaaes.km to be sure it is getting loaded.
I think it is a problem with the upper/lowercase mixing.

3.) Has someone ported a more recent version of rpm to mint? it would be
much easier to pack packages on a linux system with crosscompiler.

Bye
Bernd
