Maybe a bit more detailed description about your problem would help.
I think this is the problem ( binutils.deb converted to .rpm via alien): 

$ rpm -Uhv binutils-m68k-atari-mint-2.21_mint_20110206-2.i386.rpm
$ Fehler: Fehlgeschlagende Abhängigkeiten:
	libz.so.1(ZLIB_1.2.0) wird benötigt von
$ binutils-m68k-atari-mint-2.21_mint_20110206-2.i386
What about using --force? To me it is sure that an fedora 13/14 system has an up-to-date zlib...
