Wasn't it the other way round? kernel is 040, xdd is 000?


But the debug-level can be altered at runtime (Ctrl-Alt-F1(+), F2(-)).

So boot with low debug-level, and increase when transfer is started.

I agree, it should not crash nor hang in any such standard-situations.
