Committed the fix for this.

It'll be in tonights refresh build of the mintlib.

What was the cause ?
If I remember correctly (need to check) there was a NULL pointer
floating around which wasn't checked before use.
Alan, could you please confirm that you committed your changes regarding to that malloc() bug, and that it fixed the random "make" assertion failed?

make: ../mintlib/malloc.c:187: __free: Assertion `s == r' failed.
